渋紙型フレーム ／ 編み込み文様

型染めをしていると型紙の美しさにふとした瞬間出会います。

光に当てて型紙の彫りの進み具合を確認するとき。
完成した型紙を通して外の景色を眺めるとき。
糊おきをして型紙をめくるときに型越しに日の光が差し込み揺れ動くさま。

そのひとつひとつが美しくて
この瞬間を染色家ではなくても 共有できるものをお届けできないかと考えました。


この渋紙型のフレームは
窓辺に立てると日時計のように時間と共に流れ動く文様の影を眺めることができ
ランプの近くに立てると夜の時間にも文様の影で楽しめます。
壁に掛けると壁と型紙の間に空間ができて少し浮き出たような立体感ある飾りになります。

フレームには型紙と一緒に和紙や写真を挟んで飾ることも可能です。

渋紙は和紙を柿渋で重ねた紙なので木のような落ち着いた焦茶色をしています。
色布ものを飾らない落ち着いたお部屋の方でも、渋紙の文様を楽しむことができます。
それぞれのお家に合う楽しみ方をしていただけると とても嬉しいです。

When I am katazome dyeing, I encounter the beauty of katagami in a moment.

I feel a momentary beauty when I look at it through a light bulb to see the progress of katagami carving, or when I look at the scenery outside through a completed katagami, or when I see the movement of light coming in when I glue the katagami in the light and turn it over.

I wondered if I could offer you something that would allow you to share these moments even if you are not a dyeing artist.

This patterned paper frame can be placed on a window sill to view the shadows of the pattern as it moves with time, like a sundial.
When placed near a lamp, the shadows of the pattern can be enjoyed at night.
When hung on a wall, the space between the wall and the patterned paper creates a three-dimensional decoration that seems to float a little.
